Rick Warren’s team came to us with a request to translate and do the voice-over for 260 episodes of Pastor Rick’s Daily Hope podcasts into 22 languages. Each podcast was about 30 minutes. With millions of English listeners worldwide, it proved to be a daunting task to produce a product that can attract millions of listeners in other languages.
We had to assemble a team of 12 translators, editors, theological reviewers to translate the 260 podcasts into every language. So for all 22 languages, we gather a total of 264 linguists. There were over 35 speakers besides Pastor Rick that appeared in the episodes as guests. So we had to find 660 unique voices in all languages to record. Adding five project managers and three sound engineers, we put together a team of 931 professional individuals to complete this project within two years.
This project was an achievement for the entire Christian Lingua Team.
